set a challenge to watch 100 films this year, here's number 2 of 100.
review of Conclave (2024), five stars, which says "Cinematically, this is one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. If you take out scale, I'd say this is on par with Lawrence of Arabia. And even then, there's still some massive shots in this that are so well done. If political dramas are your bread and butter, this is the film for you. This has to be probably the most deserving of Best Picture for 2024."
