Fresh off my needles. The base yarn is Potluck Bulky from Cherry Tree Hill, and the solid colors are from Knitpicks. The pattern is a modification of Ann Budd's Fibonacci Rings. Yes, I've had the base yarn for a long, long time.

If you are wondering who Abner Hosmer is, here's an article. He was the drummer for the Acton Minutemen. Captain Isaac Davis, of the Acton Minutemen also died in the first volley. James Hayward died later in the battle - he was the town schoolmaster.

It is snowing outside, but I'm watching the Bruins and knitting with a warm cat asleep in my lap. For you knitters out there, I'm near the completion of the Effortless Shawl using a Koigu pencil box in rainbow colors. Oh, and the Bruins are ahead, at least for now. Better post quickly....
