"States' rights" has always been a euphemism for "gonna take away all your rights and tell you how much you're gonna love it."

When we see what's happening at CBS, it becomes clear that these media mega deals are good only for the rich. They are designed to control the anti-democracy message coming from the Trump administration. Of course he's for this. How much are they paying him for his approval?

Absolutely. They have no idea what they are doing.

And the national news barely mentions.

The entire operation is flawed and should be suspended until the investigations into the Good and Pretti killings are completed and Congress works with the administration to develop a legal plan. Trump and Noem have no idea what they are doing, and Tom Homan inspires no confidence.

They feel no shame in doing that. I have unfortunately been represented by Republicans for the last 40 years. They feel no guilt taking your money and cheating you out of your rights.

I'm sick of reading about the plight of beleaguered travelers. Why don't you talk about the REAL problems facing people? Increasing costs, hunger, health care, education? Talk about farmers in this week of "plenty." But don't give me any more crap about airline travelers.

So, NBC, why aren't you discussing this on the news? Why do we have to hear one more story about air travel? Because rich people must not be inconvenienced? The president is murdering people! Stop supporting the regime. Defend America.

I have expressed something similar many times. I guess the reality is that people would rather complain about high prices rather than do what it would take to lower them: Stop buying unnecessary stuff.

If CBS News is going to replace Dickerson with a former Fox news host, I'll be paying a lot more attention to Democracy Docket.

Bessent needs to tell Johnson to reopen the government, swear in Grijalva, go to the table with the Dems, and get a budget. If the vote on releasing the Epstein files comes up, man up and accept the fact that the leader of his party is a criminal who belongs on America's most wanted.

We have the most ineffective Congress this country has ever elected. The House members are the dumbest people ever, standing idly by while Johnson makes them irrelevant.
