(P.2) and also getting a player group together definitely takes time cause a game is only as good as the player want to engage and enjoy the experience, something it hits and sometimes it misses, but I always to and ask what I can do to make it better next time, which I think helped me a ton

very true, I’ve been gming for almost 5 years and im still learning, what works for me is making a game where player can do what they want to do within the situation I put them in and have fun, which I like to think I’ve improved a lot and fun comes in many different ways

Damn I get that, an idea that you thought was really good in that start but once you develop it further it no longer fits and then your stuck having to either clumsily shoehorning it in (which wouldn’t work) or accept that it’s gotta go, many have that issue but actually changing it takes guts o7
