Like I'm strictly talking about flanderization and misunderstanding the character or changing their character traits. This annoys the crap out of me, If you don't understand the character then don't write for them. Simple as that.

From my experience, it's either from a lack of media literacy and not understanding the character or massive projection. Where they want to be that said character.

I'll do some writing, I guess.

Also yes, Metal Sonic is one of my favorite characters. But it's Sonic, I pretty much like everyone in the cast. All favs are valid and there is no wrong answer! And shadow is too damn cool to not like. Lol
