Something something uniform and dirty hands, something something she could throw me around any day

I like it for that too! But also i like not having to worry about how much storage my console has left on it for the next game…

I have a habit of hiding my art. But to put it on display for once, to allow myself to be proud, it’s bittersweet. I mourn my teen self who thought their work wasn’t good enough. I mourn the version of me who still thought my art was solely a way to make money. That I didn’t let myself love my work.

My past self, and current self, was and is so hard on myself. This is incredible. Sure, I have the knowledge now to note some flaws, but for an 17 year old with a mechanical pencil this is a crazy show of skill. And I didn’t think so. I tucked it away never to be seen until now.
