It does suck with everything going on in the States that I am legitimately uncomfortable going over the border to cons with my friends. We have alternatives but its just such a bummer and it being a constant reminder of what is going on.

People regularly and rightfully make fun of the Godhand being lower rated than Imagine Babyz by IGN, but something to remember is that even a singular person reviewing things is usually pretty bad at quantifying their review scores. Its why being a consistent critic is more difficult than you think.

Last few months I've been pretty quiet online as I've mostly been re-evaluating myself and things in my life. Feeling pretty good with how I've been taking big steps IRL toward being where I want to be, and focusing on friends who care about me vs. what 'value' I can bring them. Highly recommended.

Nintendo will of course have accounted for as much as possible prior to announcing the price.
What they (and no one else) expected was a significantly higher 46% tariff. That's what is leading to the pricing re-assessment at this point.

Every time I talk to my diehard Monster Hunter friends, I'm constantly reminded of just how much a lot of them value completely different things than me in Monster Hunter lol. Something that makes a new Monhun my new favorite is something that makes them hate it compared to older ones and vice versa
