I don't know why this person was singled out, pretty sure in many of these cases an -ism is involved, but it doesn't seem to require one. The people working there are on a wild power trip and are making this everyone's problem

Months ago there have been reports about regular able bodied European tourists being detained for weeks with no contact to any lawyer or so, e.g. because someone on the border simply refused to believe their reason for travelling and therefore decided their visa wouldn't suffice. Or just no reason.

"We can't have these social services that benefit people because what if people who don't need them use them?"
There are so many people who would rather leave vulnerable people with nothing than chance any risk that their tax dollar might go to someone they don't want it to go to.

Tons of research shows people rarely commit fraud for social services anyway. We literally went through a mo ths-long news cycle about DOGE committing more fraud than they actually found. What is wrong with you people. Just let people have accommodations. Why do you fucking care?

Or plants. Visited a museum with an exhibition about Van Gogh's "sunflower phase". Listening to the tour guide trying to interpret anything into these was hilarious, considering Van Gogh only painted flowers because he couldn't afford human models. He had to practice and flowers were cheap.

100% agreed. Kind of reminds me of "But they managed to make a whole company/game/career out of a garage!"

Whose garage? How many people do you know who own a house with a garage they don't even need to use for a car in their young adult years?

To be fair, there is one single good result of this whole techno god biz: Seeing how incredibly incompetent and impulsive the upper 1% actually is helps quite a lot with imposter syndrome. No matter how bad you think you are, you are always waaaayyy better than these actual imposters.
