Maybe they think less people would be excited to unlock baby Daisy than adult Daisy but when DK wasn’t in the starting roster I gave up on anything here making much sense.

You got me curious and now I see it was only on the main block for about 7 months. It predates DBZ and was only on with Sailor Moon for 2 months.
It returned in 1999 for TMR but was relegated to 3:15AM for 2 months then pushed to 3:45AM where it remained till they lost the license in Jan of 2000.
