Please clarify, the stay remains in place but the lawsuit filed in Texas will continue, and may result in a win for the plaintiff? Is it just that that lawsuit will not play out until after the Nov 26 mid-terms?

Zoning matters, for sure. But that study? The claim is partially accurate but overstated and has faced significant rebuttals. Its model focuses on three cities. Other more recent research puts the figure at ~3%.

The point I attempted to make was that housing mandate numbers were aspirational, not realistic. If it’s a mandate, that’s a problem. Let’s see how many jurisdictions statewide achieve the mandated numbers. That will inform as to how realistic they are. RHNA process is flawed. Designed to fail.
