The author put the name pronunciation at the beginning of the book. That’s cute, my brain won’t remember that. I’ll use the first letter, glance once at the rest of the letters, and just make up the name.

Documentary comes up “1994”, my brain says, oh 20 years ago. No, no brain, isn’t 20 years ago, and you’re in your 40s.

today is the National Day for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives. I created this mini guide as a resource to increase awareness, share education, and provide links to resources to get involved.

Constantly singing the wheels on the bus to my husband who just got a job as a bus driver, is apparently annoying. I’m going to go knock on my son’s door and sing it. Oooo hail to the bus driver!

It’s taken 16 year for my son to tell me that he’s eaten too much chocolate. I never thought it was possible.

Where do we learn the “it’s ok” smile? My son asked me if I was ok after a fight with my husband and I do it, because I’m not going to emotion dump on him. I don’t want to create the relationship where he carries my baggage, or 2 container ships, as I call it.

When your 16 year old starts singing to the lyrics to “I touch myself” in the car, and you remember yourself doing it when it first came out. Awkward.
