2/2 The others in attendance are wealthy individuals and corporation reps or guests—people who are NOT impacted by ICE actions, people who employ immigrants all the time, pay minimum wages, then act surprised when their workers are arrested and deported.

Honestly? I wish we hadn't won this battle. Who goes to the Super Bowl? Some ticketholders (regular fans), yes, those who win the lottery in their hometown. But winning is only half of it. You have to pay the ticket's face value, AND travel expenses. These are not the people who fear ICE.

Which Dems are ready to fold? I'm lucky, my Rep (Raskin, MD) will stand strong. But we can make waves in other districts.

Cancelling my subscription. I thought she would be a champion of the free press. Her hiring by CBS was the first inkling that I was wrong. Killing this story sealed the deal.

It's horrific, and true. And it's being done by my government. VOTE. It's the best weapon we have against these Trump-tyrants.
