If, as Vance said, agents also have absolute immunity, it’s a certainty that more people will be hurt and/or killed. Add Trump’s continued pardons for those who use violence to help him achieve his power grab, and the US is the definition of an authoritarian state.

POTUS shouldn’t speak to anyone that way, especially to any reporter. The constitution clearly reflects the importance our founders ascribed to to the press: “Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press”. All genders of the press need to stand up to protect it.
