Being an old mom means that you get to enjoy "firsts" with your teenaged son... My favorite today is shaving our faces together.

I never really appreciated kids until I birthed my own… I realized today, that it is because of that, I now have quite a fondness for small people who don’t treat me like a punk a$$ b*tch 24/7. Which means I really only enjoy the ones that don’t belong to me. Baby steps, right?!?

Today I’ve managed to get through mothering some pretty intense shit, but this is what broke me… less than 12 hours clean and I walked into this. I don’t think they can make toothpaste easier… Why?!?

Is there a trophy or a medal for smelling like coconut colada for no other reason than the lotion was a gift??? I'm not sure "practicing gratitude" should smell this bad...
