I occasionally think it might be nice to paint outside...then my paint dries too fast, my chickens harass me, bugs stick to the canvas, and the wind knocks my easel over and I remember why I don't paint out there 🤣 I lasted about 15 minutes today before giving up.

I finished this piece last night, colored pencils on pastelmat. I was just in the mood for spring after this long rainy winter! I haven't come up with a title yet, but this is my first hummingbird art. I could not resist that beautiful little nest 🥰

Thought I should post one of my oldest (and biggest!) pieces, an old rusty Dodge that I painted for a college art show back in 2001 or so...it takes up a whole wall in my living room. I hope to do another piece this large someday but it's not very practical 😆 I love rusty old things.
