It's funny that Legendary Julia and Legendary Deirdre both released in August - August 28th marks 6 years since L!Julia, and August 31st marks 3 years since L!Deirdre. Both the daughter and her mother got good art

Maybe Finn was too loyal, too stubbornly devoted to a dead man. But for better or worse, he was never selfish. He never backed down even though he was a normal human being facing superhuman challenges.
This is Finn: the most loyal lance knight, loyal to a fault.

That was until he reunited the daughter of his lieges - that little girl thought to be lost forever - for the first time. He cried so much that she was safe and sound. But more than that, he cried that he could not have looked over her the same way he did for Leif and Nanna.
June 15, 2025 at 2:54 PM
All this time, Finn almost never allowed himself to be overtaken by emotions. He stuck by Leif's side, stuck by his mission of raising him even as it came to his detriment as with Lachesis' departure.

And when Leif was ready to go on his own expedition to take his rightful place as the Prince of Leonster, Finn stood by his lord's side - even when he made decisions, decisions that led to the loss of close friends.
Finn was loyal to a fault.

And as such, he was on the run with Leif for the next fourteen years. Time and time again, he sacrificed himself for the sake of Leif and of Princess Lachesis' daughter Nanna. He attended to every need of them while still honoring Leif's own father.

But then, Finn learns of the horrific deaths of the man and woman that he devoted himself to. He is quickly thrust into the position of guarding Leif, of standing in for Leif's father - his own lord - with little time to grieve.

But Finn's story really begins offscreen in Chapter 5 of FE4. It is him who is left home by Quan to not only guard his young son Leif but to guard all of Leonster. This was a valiant task to leave to a man still so young.

In this capacity, he does wonderfully! He holds his own against the Verdanians and develops a close relationship with his lieges. Quan trusted him so much that he was willing to give him a valuable Brave Lance to Finn.

Finn is extraordinary, a prodigy, from the very beginning of his story. It probably isn't unusual for someone to join the knights of Leonster at a young age. What is unusual is that his lord Quan let him accompany him at the young age of 15 to fight Verdane.

Sorry for doing a thread one day after my last one, but today is Father's Day, so I wish to repost my thread about Finn of Leonster!

Nonetheless, that's the story of the fabulous Princess Lachesis: A transformation from a sheltered young girl dependent on her brother to a warrior who gave herself up for her son. Hopefully you like her too! (15/15)

The ultimate fate of Lachesis is lost to time. Perhaps she was turned to stone by the Loptrians. Maybe she was killed. Or perhaps she entered into a geas like Lewyn and Brigid did. Nonetheless, this is the end of her story. (14/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:23 PM
A problem remained: Lachesis' other child, Diarmuid, was left in Tirnanog. At some point, perhaps around 771, Lachesis travelled across the desert by herself, leaving Nanna in Finn's care. She cared that deeply for her son. (13/15)

But Leonster was besieged by Thracia. This forced Lachesis to flee Leonster along with the young Nanna, and she sought refuge with Finn and Leif in various places in the peninsula before they settled in Fiana. (12/15)

After Belhalla, Lachesis travels to Leonster, perhaps to aid Finn in raising the now-orphaned Leif. Nanna was born either before or during her stay in Leonster, so she was there too. (11/15)

Manga adaptations aside, Lachesis still fights. You can use her to kill Chagall, where she gets well-deserved revenge against "that pig." And her story doesn't end with Belhalla. (10/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
She stood against Eldigan so he would stop fighting Sigurd and try *something* to get Chagall to stand down. Unfortunately, this failed. Since this game is a tragedy, Eldigan was executed. (9/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
This is where the conversation with Eldigan happens. Eldigan continued to fight for Chagall despite the latter's obvious moral failings. Lachesis is grown up enough to know that her brother, the man whom she looked up to for so long, was *wrong.* (8/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Ideally at some point during Chapter 3, Lachesis promotes to the rank of Master Knight. She is no longer a frail footlocked unit; she's given Sigurd a run for his money for the title of best unit in the army. (7/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
But as the game progresses, she gets stronger, whether the player is consciously abusing the Return Staff to level her up or they are using her normally. (6/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Now, Lachesis is close to Eldigan (in a platonic way). She does trust him to a very high degree, to the point of abruptly warming up to Beowulf after he claims that Eldigan sent him to guard her. (5/15)
June 14, 2025 at 2:20 PM
But against Elliot who wishes to force her into marriage, she stands her ground. In spite of her inexperience, in spite of being separated from the brother whom she adores, she fights back and joins Sigurd. (4/15)
