I got the scan results back for this. I still have osteopenia. There's some improvement but the osteopenia is still there so I still need to take the medication for my bones.

I've not known anything different to that for a long time and I think when I get the chance to actually breathe and have a moment to process things I'll finally feel less like I'm powering through things on autopilot

Physical therapy has been going good! A slow process atm. I go at my own pace because of my hEDS and how easy it is for me to injure another area. I'm just glad to have a small exercise routine for my chronic health issues that's as good as I can make it for them.

I got my medication! Now I'm seeing how I start doing and hope for improvement.

I've still been making important phone calls ever since this first post. Oof

I'm just waiting for the letter the neurologist writes so I can give that to my doctor & hopefully get started with the new medication.

My healing takes longer because I have hypermobility spectrum disorder. I keep that in mind with this injury and any others I get. They'll just take longer and I'll have to be more careful.

My second DEXA scan is March 2025. Last time I had osteopenia in my spine and neck. I'm curious about what it'll say this time.
