Not a stuffed animal I expected to see at my local Half-Priced Boos, but a welcome one.

I woke up in the middle of the night, but was armed with insufficient photographic equipment to properly document the eclipse.

I updated my Massospondylus skeletal reconstruction, with help from the amazing Kimi Chapelle! The most notable update is the neck turns out to be even longer.

New dinosaur alert! The horned dinosaur Furcatoceratops was named today, and it's pretty adorable IMO. 🧪 The paper is here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S019566712300188X and here's a skeletal drawing I did of the specimen a few years back:

Another skeletal reconstruction - this one is of the giant titanosaurian sauropod Dreadnoughtus (which is one of the cooler names IMO). It was a huge animal, but perhaps not quite as huge as initially claimed. 🧪

My first post is my most recent skeletal reconstruction: 'The Nation's T. rex', which is now on display at the Smithsonian but was previously at the University of Montana.
