if it hadn't been just a lifeless cash grab, i *do* think it could have been a decent concept. besides the use of ai and "inspiration" from splatoon, the style and characters were just so generic. could've made cute rubber duck characters that shoot bubbles and foam. not pinkanimegirl#200.jpg.
Square Enix announced they are ending season update support for Foamstars after January 17th 2025.
Foamstars was supported for about 1 year.
