the only reason to have any hope is that this also creates the conditions necessary for a populist economic movement from the left to emerge

i believe that will then create the conditions for the real dark fascist shit to start happening. with the ratchet successfully tightened without any release by dems, the country will be at a new boiling point and ripe for mass deportations/killings on a scale that this admin can only dream of

dems are going to win big and if we’re lucky(?) trump will die or cede power peacefully (i think any chance of major election fraud goes away with his death but maybe not idk)

they will then proceed to change nothing. no structural changes. little to no prosecutions. etc.
