I am so impressed how the Ukrainians have played the chess game recently:
1) They have turned Trump around to realize that it is actually Putin who is stopping him for getting creds of stopping the hostilities.
2) They now have the US, UK and most of EU backing them with an unconditional ceasefire.

What Europe should do:
1. Play for time as time is now on Ukraines side. Russia is bleeding and their offensive is culminating. Ukraine is already taking over the initiative at some parts of the front.
