Living that Midwest life
Our son also had eclectic taste in music! He leans toward death metal, but his work playlists have a lot of the Dead on them.

My husband is a Deadhead. He's played Workingman's Dead so many times on road trips when I'm sleeping that I get drowsy just hearing the opening notes of Uncle John's Band. 🤣

It makes sense that DW has those since the founders came from LJ. Thanks for the confirmation!

I still have my Dreamwidth account AND the login info. Perhaps that would be an option if we all started using ours. (I hate shouting into a true void.)
November 26, 2025 at 4:21 PM
*I* would love to be kept up to date!
November 26, 2025 at 4:17 PM
That really sucks! Does Dreamwidth allow locked posts? I haven't looked at mine in about....forever, so I don't remember.

I got a notification that you had joined. So that's happening too.

You looked like (and are!) an interesting local person. Plus, you have good taste in luxury cars (tricked out VW Bugs).

Jokes on him! My parents were agnostic!

I listened to it 5 times in a row while driving to work. Each time was louder than the last.

😂 It's okay. Your phone is being mean.
November 15, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Sad but true. *sigh*

I rely on the kpop subreddit for most of my recommendations. They put up new MVs, I watch, then I add the ones I like to my commuting playlist. Then I add the ones that survive that to my ever growing kpop work playlist. 😅 Joohoney is VERY pretty.

They're awesome! They produce these lovely songs AND songs like "Do What I Want". Both of which are my jam.

Winters aren't so terrible! Madison has a lot to do in winter AND winters are milder these days (thanks global warming! 🙃).

The Indexing books were my introduction to your writing* and I'm quite sad there won't be more.

But! You've written (and are writing) many other books that I enjoy. I can't really complain.

*Humble Bundle maybe?
November 7, 2025 at 8:03 PM
*sigh* I should probably stretch more. *deeper sigh*
November 7, 2025 at 1:53 PM
Oh.

Oh NO.

Absolutely not happening.
November 6, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Isn't that what the poors use in historical books? I assume they smell terrible and work badly.
November 6, 2025 at 7:14 PM
Far too often.

I hope you feel less snotty soon!
November 6, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I have so many questions about *waves hands* all of that.
November 6, 2025 at 1:51 PM
I used this one in May of this year and it went smoothly.
