You can just tell when someone is writing as a flex to sound like what a smart person sound like vs trying to clearly impart information or an idea. You can't read it aloud without sounding like a melodramatic actor reading a bad script.

I don't think attorney fees are geometric with users, which is a lot of it. Class actions aren't more difficult to defend for larger class sizes. And individual plaintiffs often have cookie-cutter complaints/theories, so work on one case can be reused for others. +Lower negotiated rates with volume.

Maybe, but we're only a few months into this (as difficult as it is to believe)! The results of razing the federal government are not widely felt in real time, but it's very possible the creeping crisis or a spectacular govt meltdown will force a wider audience to care down the road.

a thought i’ll put out there: it is not the ideological moderation that is the electoral problem, it is that selecting for candidates who chase popular issue positions is necessarily selecting for candidates who exude the kind of focused-group affect that voters genuinely hate

Best-case scenario: with a careful crafted query, it will give you a citation to a case that works as a starting point for research, along with a description of that case that's so often wrong that it cannot be trusted. And this will take more time than just finding that case yourself.
