Is it not fucking glorious? I keep going to shows with bands that weren't born yet when I was in college and they're fantastic. This wave of ska is young, and diverse, and queer as hell, and lovingly making amazing music.

Other than everything, this is a fantastic time to be alive.

This actually isn't even about tipping. It's mostly about how much Starbucks has mistrained an entire 3-4 generations of coffee drinkers when it comes to understanding what different drinks actually are and how it's acceptable to treat service staff.

What's been brutal to see is the anti-tipping trend really catch steam and see people online say that workers should demand better wages. Like, bitch, yes but your selfish, spontaneous, cowardly approach does nothing but allow you to patronize a business that doesn't pay its workers enough.
