also, since things like gachas and a card system are common— that’s all the game has become. competition. Love live sif had one, yeah, but it didn’t feel daunting from what i remember. it’s been years since i played it, but goddamn it, sekai would suck the life out of me to open that game and grind

like, sure, it has a micro transaction problem. HOWEVER, it is dated compared to the problems of a fuckass battle passes. sure, voez isn’t adding new songs, but AT LEAST THE SONGS ARE DIVERSE AND GOOD?? AT LEAST IT CAN STAND ON ITS OWN TWO FEET WITHOUT A GIMMICK (hypm1c cough cough)
