I'm really tired, and thought your post read "Sorry, 'Babe' is a very very good film" and my brain really tricked me into thinking the picture was actually this poster. "That's quite a bold take in 2025" I thought. For a blissful moment.

You are probably right about not focusing on him being a mentally unfit sex offender (which he is). But respectfully, I find it hard to resonate with your understanding of NYT/Ezra being both-sides'ey. The last 5 videos from Ezra's YouTube channel are about Trumps obviously authoritarian governing.
