Mother nature has been hard at work on the Trout River in Jacksonville. 😮💨

Lots of oysters and critters like crabs are making a home on this HEAVY Vertical Oyster Garden (VOG) on the Trout, installed back in April!

🦪 One live oyster can filter 50 gallons of water per day. 🦪

Many of you submitted a public comment to the USDA in opposition of rescinding the Roadless Rule. 🌳 The fight for our public lands is not over. 🌳

Congress must pass the Roadless Area Conservation Act.

It's About Dam Time to improve water quality.

Restoring the natural flow of the Ocklawaha River:

💧 Would reduce the need for herbicide spraying of invasive aquatic plants to prevent frequent blockages of the river & boat ramps.

Happy International Coastal Cleanup Day! ♻️

Did you know: Our McCoys Creek cleanup team collects used grain bags from local breweries to give them a second life as trash bags, so they don't waste any extra plastic at their cleanups!
