Our good ‘ol Ohio governor just had to announce a good deed with a little (blatantly false) snark. I wish we could all just come together instead of everything being a partisan issue ALL THE TIME.

I originally read this as “racist xenomorph” and well, I guess that fits too.
Kendrick Lamar spoke english and had a red white & blue theme. They got mad. Beyonce spoke english and literally did a COUNTRY MUSIC half time show. They got mad. At some point you gotta just admit it got nothin to do with the language, and everything to do with you being a racist xenophobe. Image from the movie Alien. Conflicted about funny costumes at protests. On one hand, it introduces levity and humor to an emotionally exhausting time. It draws attention. On the other hand, we need to be taken seriously. Maybe a blow-up costume of a very stern and serious bird would be a happy medium?

Went to the Ohio Renaissance Festival yesterday. I didn’t want to come back to modernity. I forgot all about the horrors for a short while. Highly recommend some dissociation from time to time.
