I literally do this all the time. I also noticed when I was in eu a month ago the prevalence of tap pay. I can use it in the Us with modest success but it really takes away the need for a card physically.

This is true - especially in the Obama years it felt like things were at a tipping point. After Reynolds and Co it went straight down.
There is also massive brain drain as someone who grew up and went to college there. The % of the say top 20% of each of my graduating classes still there is tiny

Ed I saw a Toby coppel LinkedIn post last night about how his ai portcos are going to talk to each other and eventually subsume all jobs and immediately thought of you/threw up in my mouth.
Idk if these guys actually believe all of this or are just too far in but my god.
