#CFC are now the closest challengers to #AFC in the Premier League. Man City’s defeat to Newcastle means Maresca’s side will end the weekend second in the table. The two London rivals play each a week tomorrow at Stamford Bridge. (Man City can move back to 2nd a day earlier v Leeds).

Chelsea have suffered a major blow with the news that Cole Palmer has sustained another injury setback by fracturing his toe.

Palmer damaged the little toe on his left foot colliding with a door at home.

Chelsea have spoken with Wesley Fofana after he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and ordered to do 300 hours of unpaid community service.

The club do not get involved in all of their players’ issues but felt it was important to speak to Fofana.
