Looks like each agent and each car costs $500 an hour, plus a $129 annual fee.

“But if you split it with 4 friends, you only have to pay for a 20% of it!”

Adding the two tweets that were posted today, before I post this thread. The allegedly "misplaced" HUD money moved the needle quite a bit.

Your DOGE refund is now approaching 30 bucks, and we've now covered a full tenth of a percent of the new deficit.

Yay?
February 15, 2025 at 1:52 AM
Much of this is estimated, as DOGE isn't exactly specific in describing programs or costs.

Most of the posts only give ballpark costs. One of them (the 3D-printed IUD thing) doesn't specify a cost at all.

"THE RECEIPTS" are supposed to drop today... but it's 8:30PM in DC, and still nothing 🤷‍♂️
February 15, 2025 at 1:52 AM
This also doesn't account for the cost of DOGE itself, which claims to be hiring "world-class" tech people for full-time salaried positions.

World-class tech people don't work long hours for free. Most of them cost more than the ~$94k average government salary.

Is DOGE supposed to reduce the deficit by eliminating government waste? If so, they'd better start cutting faster.

They've currently balanced out 0.06% of the cost of the tax cuts.

That's not accounting for the rest of the current deficit, or the other ways it's expected to grow.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration's tax proposals are estimated to cost $4.5 TRILLION.

These policies mostly benefitted the rich during Trump 1, and the proposal is to make them permanent now.

Dividing by the number of taxpayers again, that's a cost of $29 THOUSAND to each of us.
February 15, 2025 at 1:52 AM
The DOGE math does not add up. 🧵

Between the Twitter account, the White House "Fact Sheet," and Vought's statement about CFPB... $2.57 billion in cost savings are being touted.

But 153.8 million people filed federal income tax last year. That's less than $17 going back to each taxpayer.
