Trump owns this. For all his talk about Russia not invading Ukraine if he was in power - we have Russia amping up attacks on Ukraine, and provoking another world war. Trump did this.

Given his age and decline, they had better hope the pardons have already been prepared and signed - and then not overturned by the next admin, as Trump is attempting to do now. Not sure I would be banking on a pardon.

The pipeline appears to be political fodder for Smith and catnip for the media & pundits.
Other items discussed: nuclear power, carbon capture, data centres, and national infrastructure - which better serve Canadians (tbd?) - are at the crux of this, as Canada shows we are ready to do business.
