How are any of these people even teachers? The principal at my school said irregardless over the speaker and I just cringed. Ignorance delivered with the utmost confidence is the new normal.

I prefer to think it means you’re seasoned/deeply experienced, not old. You are just good/great at what you do. I thank goodness for journalists like you because the overall mainstream media is a train reck.
