This is the kicker - the "Puberty blockers study under investigation" headline which kicked off reams of coverage elsewhere was entirely concocted, because it was the *journalists themselves* who forced the investigation to happen. The investigation found nothing wrong, but by then it was too late.
The ultimate twist is that 'gender critical' activist-journalists, Deborah Cohen and Hannah Barnes, reported the study to the HRA themselves!

The HRA was required to open an investigation because they’d received a report... which gave the Newsnight duo the shocking headline they desired.

In Scotland it’s arguable that the Lib Dems do better in Westminster elections (FPTP) than Holyrood elections (PR). We still oppose FPTP.

Mark…you really have made a mess of these elections. I get it that other folk have dirty hands too and it gives me no pleasure in saying this. it’s sad that your time as Federal President has ended with you being involved in this and it has tarnished your reputation so badly.

The issue about rules (rather than payment) has to be resolved after ten feudal system was abolished by Holyrood but that has happened without a problem. Flat owners in Scotland own the freehold of their flats while there still be enforceable rules about shared costs etc

In Scotland, it happened on a sale by sale basis with flats too and it didn’t cause a problem. (Bizarre that I remember all of this as I have never practiced property law. It’s amazing what you remember from University).

Nonsense can manifest in many ways and I would not for a moment to suggest that Polanski’s views are the same as Farage’s.
