@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social I finished the book on the discovery of Streptomycin and it was SO interesting. So much drama surrounding the discovery of the first antibiotic treatment for TB. And it’s still in use today, which is both good and bad news as you know. Absolutely recommend it!

My job involves a lot of interactions with med students and it is %1000 like Christmas when match day hits. Did they get what they hoped? Is it the right city and the right specialty?? Did they match at all? High stress but high reward and I love sharing it with them in my small way.
