I even wrote a scene (excerpt attached) which implied that Bree (Marcia Cross) had asked Susan to duck down when they drove onto the grounds of her restricted country club.

But then Marc Cherry politely informed me that "Susan Meyer" was now "Susan Mayer," so yeah... not Jewish.

My second screen credit was a 1988 episode of Mr. Belvedere entitled "G.I. George." Sadly I never got to meet Bob Uecker, just watch from the audience as he said some jokes I wrote and made them seem far funnier than they actually were. Rest in peace to a hell of a guy.
