Okay this is one of the coolest moments this month. This raven was as curious about me as I was about him. Camera phone no zoom. He was sitting in the railing of a railroad track overpass. We hung out together for ten minutes, then I left him alone. #birds

#birds feed at different heights so I feed at different heights. It increases the diversity of species visiting the feeders. Here are some mourning doves and chipping sparrows. I keep stones on the ground and the mourning doves will sleep next to them.

I am getting 4 Bluebirds at the feeders. 2 mating pairs. Here is a female and a Hairy Woodpecker at the suet.
