Love the strategy of spending 18 months recruiting players to fit the specific system the manager is ideologically welded to. Only to sack him and presumably hire a new manager with a different system, making half these signings instantly redundant.

The Spy and The Traitor is an excellent book. I got The Siege by Ben MacIntyre over Christmas, hopefully it's just as good!
