A great show by Frigg last night

Finally the hedgehog is visiting at a reasonable time of night. They've a secure hedgehog feeding station with special hedgehog food but also get to finish up the cat food if I know it's coming. I don't leave the cat food in the feeder because foxes will try to destroy the feeder & flies lay eggs.

Also a shieldbug called Graphosoma which also likes Lesser Hogsweed. We have only seen that once in the same place as the Lixus on Freedown Lane, but there's a good chance it will spread and we think Queen Mary's park could be good for it.🤞

Keep an eye out for a very large (for a weevil) weevil there, they like to suck on the stems of lesser hogsweed. We found them there a few years ago and tried again this year but weren't successful. However, we saw them again on Freedown Lane this year where we also found them previously.
