Building on my work on work time fragmentation: For women, fragmentation still brings a rush, yet can also ease anxiety (offsets ~30–40% of the gain). For men, rush doesn’t raise anxiety, echoing Gershuny’s idea of busyness as a gendered “middle-class badge.” link.springer.com/article/10.1...
