Retired. Been a farmer and a truck driver, and other stuff.
Like Border Terriers and most other dogs.
Love it when that happens. I've been name dropped twice on Cerys Mathews' Sunday programme on 6 MUSIC. Not as posh as Radio 3.

Always thought he was a prat, just didn't realise how big a prat he actually is.

Do you have one of those sonic cat repellers? My sister-in-law found hers quite effective. We have a Terrier.

When i was in international shipping, so in the 1980s, there was a sailing ship frighting Guinness to Nigeria. Didn't last that long but attracted interest at the time.

I remember staying in an alpine hut that had a large flock of alpine choughs as neighbours. The Guardienne served us chicken stew and I nearly convinced the other residents that it was chough stew.

Oh yes, still loving it here in Bath; not going anywhere else soon. The fire was just before we moved here when we lived in a village called Newton Longville, just outside Milton Keynes; our postal address was Paradise as three houses had been built on the old Paradise Farm. Proper village still.

Yes, woke in the middle of the night and could hear something; looked out of bathroom window and could see flames. Got Penny and dog to safety and called Fire Brigade; but I'd got it out by the time they arrived. Pity was we'd sold the house a few weeks earlier but it all worked out well.

Please clean out your dehumidifier regularly, I didn't do ours and it burnt down the conservatory.

I had no problems ar all on the SNCF app recently, also had no problems when I subsequently needed to cancel them. And money back in my account straight away. GWR said I'd bought the wrong ticket with no refunds.
