When people say that everything is unaffordable, I largely assume that they’re talking about housing because it is inelastic. People can buy less eggs, drive less, or change many other habits to cut down costs, but they can’t make their mortgage or rent any cheaper. Tariffs will make it worse.

Despite constant claims that new multifamily development is straining the school system, in Norwalk, one of CT’s fastest growing cities, school enrollment is down over the course of five years.

Three years of design review. For its pros and cons, this is where form based code would come in handy. Take the discretion out of the design.

Very excited for the future of Wall Street in Norwalk - highlighted properties could soon be the home to about 450 dwellings, 200 hotel rooms, office and retail. All replacing parking lots and vacant buildings.
