I don't think so. The criticism isn't even honest, because it's not being spouted to improve anything, just to hate on a single person and cancel her. It's either intended as ragebait or to incite change, and the outcome isn't positive for people who like the shows as they are now.

This isn't even advanced theory or anything. People aren't grasping 101 concepts and critical thinking they should've known by fifth grade. This isn't an, "I'm smarter than you because I watch X" moment, but a full blown "Are you okay?" one.
