Average roots experience 💥

I was surprised at the rate this currently exists at with Tarmogoyf’s nest, especially compared to this. Definitely could be fun if you were an “enchant land” deck with squirrel’s nest, this, and Tarmogoyf’s nest, and in other colors you get bangers like underworld connections

I tried… a bunch. It’s just a little too underwhelming rn, especially when domain just goes over the top of all of it. Thornvault forager is nuts with roots, but I just think that it’s not efficient enough to compete with something like pixie and too small ball to compete with domain.

I think answering 2.5 cards for 2 mana is okay, but largely I think it won’t actually be 2 cards worth from the seek, and would only seem good if you’re already ahead, as if you’re behind spending mana to stop them from closing the door isn’t changing your position, just making it not worse imo.

This series was awesome, and I really enjoyed learning about some cards I would’ve never glanced at. One card that struck me as powerful and fun is delaying shield, as it is very effective at preventing the loss of the monarch. Thank you for taking the time to have done these daily :0)
