But they are safe from knowing that LGBT people exist, and that's all that really matters.

They couldn't stomach voting for a woman who believed in rights for LGBT people. Sorry about that leopard eating your face, but you literally asked for it.

Conquered us without firing a single shot.

And all the dupes will ever stop for a second to ask themselves why right-wing disinformation campaigns and candidates were Putin's weapons of choice.

He is a Yale trained lawyer. Yet his entire argument can be taken down by the simple question: "what about lunch meat?"

Hey, they said it was apocalypse proof, not snowpocalpse proof.

Are you volunteering to review its output for me moving forward? It's not like I can just hire someone who can do that for me on demand. And I am not exactly asking it to do Beautiful Mind levels of work here.

I think I am more shocked that she is an intelligent, compassionate, solid, and accomplished woman. With all the drama and fame she grew up in, I didn't think she stood a chance.

Yes, all.of the above. I have had it make spreadsheets in some cases with info contained in multiple documents. In other cases, I have had it develop formulas for me to plug into spreadsheets.

Hey, you think you can just denigrate my man, Harvey, like that?

😉 It's more that I need the formulas and calculations developed based on information that I give it (as opposed to just completed), but yeah, there probably are or could be more simple tools for that.

That being said, though, I do worry about new lawyers and how the availability of AI will impede their learning. I know when the AI agent is spitting out garbage based on my experience. But w/o the process if learning to make legal products themselves, I dont know how they will discern that.

Yeah, I am an attorney of many decades. I am good at nuanced legal work. AI is not. Sometimes my job calls on me to do non legal things I suck at - like complicated calculations and formulas. I recently have been using an elevated AI tool that can do that stuff for me. It has been such a gift.

In fairness, being born and raised in a Barnes and Noble is fairly unique.

It is messed up. But Dearborn voted for this. Dearborn couldn't bring itself to elect a woman who supported LGBT rights. So, my sympathies are pretty limited here.

During Trump's first term, my then-therapist fired most of her pro-Trump clients to keep the space safe for LGBT and BIPOC people. But she kept ones who still voted for him because they were so personally accustomed to abusive and manipulative behavior that they couldn't see how abnormal his was.

Yeah, I read that Giuffre did as well.

I mean...you don't even have to be a criminal lawyer to know about the Fifth Amendment, you just have to watch TV sometimes.

Well, probably not that, but discipline could happen. Find out where she is barred and file a complaint! She is supposed to be "our" lawyer as US citizens.

He is just so painfully stupid. I wasn't a fan of NAFTA, b/c it rewarded U.S. companies who went overseas to avoid US labor and environmental regulations. But it happened. The ship sailed. The world changed. It can't be undone by just reversing how it was done. It throws everything into chaos.

Based on the photo, it looks like they are trying to take up the whole sidewalk so protestors can't use it.

And I don't want to police anyone's activism, but I think we should let them. Go home. Give Gray's Landing tenants a break. Join PIRC's ICE watches which actually quell ICE activity instead.

A couple of weeks ago, the shutdown was "a hoax." So, I think that word has a much broader meaning to him than the rest of us.

Agreed, also the fact that borrows the media's favorite "democrats in disarray" narrative suggests that this was written by someone who reads.
