Numbers are fake, also the silksong video was some of your best work. I watched it together with a group of friends where we're typically pretty rowdy and it had all of us completely engrossed in it (except the spooky knowledge quote that got us cracking up)

Something I think I'd prefer is, instead of weight, a damage multiplier, so a heavier character would take percent slower, so then the same percent means moves against them will act the same. Doesn't account for fall speed but I think it would have done a lot to make the actual feedback consistent

Sonic frontiers is an interesting example of this bc it does both and even though I really like that game I have to admit it somehow manages to be a bad example for both approaches

I think it's also very scummy to remove the option and so drastically change the game for a lot of the userbase, but online updates and potentially misleading consumers is it's own whole conversation

And on the comp smash analogy, removing this option feels very much in the same spirit as the design decisions going from melee to brawl, which was a philosophy that in the long run reflects very poorly for that game
