we went to a fancy korean restaurant after and man it was really good
a bowl of seolleongtang (korean bone broth soup) in a heavy black bowl. the broth is white and opaque and there's bits of green onion and meat poking through the surface a bowl of bibimbap: assorted foods (zucchini, picked radish, carrot, spinach, mushroom, seaweed, bean sprouts, spicy chicken, a fried egg) atop rice in a heavy stone bowl. there's a glass of beer off to the side a wide variety of korean side dishes on a restaurant table. to the left, there is a platter of galbi (korean bbq) and to the left of that, a plate of lettuce and other fixings to make ssam (korean lettuce wraps)

yesterday i took my pet white boy friend to see the chainsaw man movie. he'd only seen the anime and that was a while ago so we made him some flash cards for enrichment and to jog his memory. it took him a while to remember denji's name.
a white piece of us letter sized paper cut in half horizontally. it has two pictures of denji from chainsaw man: one as the titular chainsaw man, but he's very stretched out horizontally, and one which is just his basic anime art with his tongue out like a little gay boy. there is text in comic sans which reads: "dennis the chainsaw guy his life's goal is: a. be rich b. touch boobs c. save his dog d. kill all the devils" another flash card this time with aki hayakawa's key art from the anime. the comic sans text reads: "this is aki hayakawa his family was killed by: a. the sword devil b. the chainsaw devil c. the gun devil d. the homophobia devil" another flash card, this time with power's art from the anime "this is my friend powy in season 1 she asks denji to save: a. her dog b. her cat c. her hamster d. aki hayakawa" notably, the word "powy" is printed to be misspelled as powie, and the -ie is crossed out with sharpie. next to that, an ey is also crossed out with sharpie before a y is written out next to that. an image of makima from the anime is on this flash card. i have been playing a lot of hades 2 lately. rolled credits a bit ago but haven't been able to stop doing postgame stuff. game is really really really good. in terms of the gamplay loop i think it's just a better version of the first game which is crazy to say.

a discord post on the dragoon section of the balance server. "How do i deal with the movement lock on high jump? Upon using high jump your character will be stopped in place for a short amount of time. the movement lock on high jump can be entirely nullified by making your character jump with the spacebar or other control methods before using the ability like such" Below is a static frame from a gif demonstrating the technique.

I watched the first episode of VOTOMS in my quest to have seen every show in a Super Robot Wars before I play it, and it was really cool!

Also holy shit, I did not know Chirico Cuvie had a dumptruck the size of his robot. This is consistent throughout the first episode, too. Bro got a slutty waist.

Finally starting 7.3 msq. I stopped the Pictomancer storyline mid-quest and thus have been holding this moogle in a sack for basically the entirety of Dawntrail. I will never let him escape. He is going to come with me to the ends of the realm, and he is going to like it.

i missed the second half of the undertale anniversary stream today, i really gotta catch up at some point. maybe i'll have it on in the background at work tomorrow.

this is what I ended up submitting for the echo flowers thing a while back. game really good.
My submission for what ended up being the Undertale 10th anniversary stream flowers. The image is Napstablook colored in the nonbinary flag, but with a blue background, because if I kept it black, then it just kind of looked like they vanished into the background 2/3rds down.
