Money probably gets poured in aggressively until several years after stagnation. But even with a dot com esque bubble pop, there are always cheaper versions. And to lots of people it’s just google but better and they aren’t going to change their mind on that because it’s not objectively wrong

Worse than today due to lack of improvement and price increases: 5%?
Generally better in theory but also “enshitified”: 50%? Something analogous to DuckDuckGo exists but most people use the big corp ones, like, come on
