Oh yeah, bears took my first flock of chickens. It's why I've put them into a building for the time being; no matter how many times I hunt them, I keep getting brown bears and black bears wandering through my valley.

End of Year 1 (which is technically the second year since we start on Year 0). Got chickens up to generation 6 and an albino elk, a chiseled greenhouse and an open field, and a rather robust house. Situated between 2 mountains. Put my windmills up on one; was A LOT of work running all those axles...

Very lovely progress on your settlement. The windmill is especially lovely; I have such a hard time making my windmills look presentable.
