Valerie, my physical therapist and I walked just the tiniest bit farther yesterday. I took several pictures, mostly trying to capture my apartment building through the trees but also captured Valerie. Is it just me, or does her pic remind you of the singing frog in that old Warner Bros cartoon?

Finally my physical therapist and I were both healthy enough for a walk today, and I was feeling good enough to turn the corner and go a little farther.

I just upgraded the 256gb M.2 Solid State Drive (ssd) that came with my old Dell Inspiron 3880 to a new Kingston 1tb M.2 SSD.
I've installed Neptune, my current Linux of choice. I will next install Linux Mint alongside it as my 'Old Dependable' OS.

The Grandson had to make a dessert for his Spanish Class meal tomorrow. He said he was making a Milhojas, or Thousand Layers Cake. I looked it up and found this pic from a site called Chilean Food and Garden:

Went for a walk without my physical therapist today! A light rain started up as I was on my way home and I did not melt.

Went for a walk with my physical therapist today because it wasn't raining and blowing for the first time in a couple weeks. I wore the early birthday present I bought myself. Nice lightweight, waterproof snow boots.

I have found a wellspring of pessimism for the new year as it approaches. Not sure if this fount of inspiration is a good thing or not, but here you go.

I'm just waiting for the grandkid to wake up, but Charlie's 16, and we were all up until 1 a.m. visiting with his brother Tyson Delgado, who is home from college, so who knows? Meanwhile, Jullee's in the kitchen, Christmas music is playing, and the tree is lit. Merry Christmas, everyone.
